Merry Christmas!

Posted by Lewis White on

Our weather has just been weird. Up-down, up-down.  Looks like it's going to be "up" this week so we'll be having short sleeve weather for Christmas Day. Seems at odds to be in a t-shirt with a huge holly bush next door....sans berries.  Since we can't photograph pretty holly berries for this post, I give you Christmas turnip greens instead!  That's Alabama for you. We'd like to thank every one for supporting our business this year and in years past.  We greatly appreciate it.  Hopefully we will see everyone at the shows this next year but at this point we...

The Holiday Season is here.....

Posted by Lewis White on

Hoping everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family, friends and lots of food.  Ours has been a learning season.  Learning how to live with new food requirements.  Learning how to manage multiple medications and keep to the schedule.  Learning how to face a different sort of future than I had planned for myself. I ate some ice cream one night and broke out in hives.  Strange occurrence as I don't have any food allergies.  I put it off to a food additive or dye and changed brands.  About a month later, again after eating ice cream the night before, I woke up with my entire face swollen and my eyes swelled shut. I studied the two brand labels looking...

Show Schedule Update

Posted by Lewis White on

Unfortunately, for the first time in more years than I can remember, Little Barn will NOT be at SAFF in N.C. this October. In fact, we will not be attending any more shows this year.  We are sorry to disappoint the loyal customers that have supported us. We will be posting products on the website and Ebay for those interested in our fibers.
