Fall Shows...
Posted by Lewis White on
Leaves are beginning to drift to the ground and the fall shows are rapidly approaching. Little Barn will be attending New York Sheep & Wool in Rhinebeck, N.Y. and SAFF in Fletcher, N.C. Some of the shows haven't been as busy in the last 3 or 4 years. This fall we hope to see a lot of folks attending and celebrating all things fleece and fiber. Let's show that hurricanes & disgusting politics cannot keep sheep & fiber people down!
We will be posting to this blog regularly as we begin stocking and packaging for the festivals. To get things rolling........
Fresh off the carder.....Two colors of Sockables. A 90/10 blend of dyed 64's grade wool and dyed acrylic fiber. Harder wearing thanks to the acrylic but soft and easy to spin. On the left, shades of orange and peach with a little yellow. On the right, shades of blue with green and a hint of brown.
On a completely unrelated note, do you think the boy has grown? 3mths vs. 10mths. Unfortunately for Mrs. LB's legs, he still wants to sit in your lap.
